METHODS
A systematic literature retrieval published from 2000 to 2020 in China was conducted by using Chinese database. The Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) was used for assessment of literature quality. The Chinese schizophrenia prevalence and it’s subgroup analyses, including gender and regions was analyzed with Stata16.0. The literature publication bias was evaluated by Egger testing and funnel graph. The sensitivity analysis was also done by eliminating one by one.
RESULTS
Twenty-eight articles were included. The total sample size was 76273830. The Chinese Schizophrenia prevalence was 3.72 ‰ (95%: 3.30 ‰ - 4.22 ‰). Subgroup analysis showed no significant difference in the schizophrenia prevalence between genders(P>0.05) ,among rural and urban(P>0.05), between the years of the survey(P>0.05). The related age range of highest prevalence of schizophrenia was 35-64 years old.
