Abstract

The present report demonstrates an efficient use of bentonite clay to bring about multicomponent synthesis of substituted spirooxindoles 4a-h in Water/ ethanol solvent system under the mild reaction conditions. Keywords: Bentonite clay, multicomponent synthesis, spirooxindoles
