Difficulties that Arab Students Face in Learning English

Abstract

The study documents the Arab Open University (AOU) Lebanon branch research project on English second language challenges that students using ESL/EAL face in studying OUUK courses at AOU. The local context of the study is the Arab Open University Lebanon branch. The main focus is to identify the main difficulties that second language learners from Arabic background face, and propose effective methods and strategies for developing English language acquisition.
