In recent years, softening a ferroelectric polymer for wearable tactile electronics has been challenging because of its high robustness and crystallinity. In this study, a functional piezoelectric material system was fabricated by optimizing the blend ratio of a copolymer of PMMA-PBA, which is an amorphous polymer, and a ferroelectric polymer P(VDF-TrFE). The stretchable film was able to extend it up to maximum 400%. By fabricating a capacitor-type device combined with a conductive polymer, we demonstrated the possibility of applying it to a stretchable sensor.
