Abstract
The electron spin state of the NV color center in the diamond is optically polarized and read out by laser. However, laser irradiation introduces additional temperature noise, and the zero-field splitting term in the Hamiltonian becomes unstable. The main objective of this study is to explain and eliminate the influence of temperature noise generated by laser power and to propose a laser pulse shaping for detection. Experimental results show that the additional −2.8 MHz frequency drift introduced by the high-power laser is suppressed, under the condition of achieving the same resonance peak contrast of the high-power laser.
