Abstract
AbstractA bioassay apparatus using an aquarium filter to maintain water flow and to minimize contamination with black fly larvicides was developed. The apparatus is fairly compact, provides good visibility of and access to the test organisms and is assembled easily from materials readily available. It can be operated in a flow-through or a recirculation mode and can be used to assess pesticide effects on non-target stream invertebrates.
