Abstract
Abstract
Thirty-one species of Cinara Curtis (Hemiptera: Aphididae) are recorded from Japan, including five that are undescribed. We here formally describe one of the five, Cinara stigmaticasp. nov., from viviparous apterous females on two species of Abies Miller (Pinaceae). Morphological and molecular diagnoses are provided. Specimen data are simultaneously published in an open-access machine-readable format.
