Abstract

AbstractKalobittacus masoni, new species, and K. similis, new species, are described from tropical Veracruz, Mexico. Kalobittacus similis is compared with K. bimaculatus Esben-Petersen, the only Mexican species of Kalobittacus heretofore known. Males of all three species and females of the two new species are illustrated, and the species are differentiated in a key.
