Abstract

Cold reverse extrusion of cups with a conical bottom made of hardening material is considered. The methods for performing specific calculations of the deforming force for various geometric parameters of free and constrained extrusion are demonstrated in detail. Comparison with the experimental data obtained by extruding aluminum alloy AD1 shows the high accuracy of the derived calculation formulas.
