An Overview of Carbon Dioxide Sequestration

Abstract

Increasing public concern about the possible effects that anthropogenic emissions of “greenhouse gases” such as CO2 may have on global climate has led to a variety of international meetings aimed at limiting these emissions. The UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, for example, calls for capping greenhouse gas concentrations.
