Abstract
Cyclic voltammetry was used to determine standard constants of charge transfer rate at a glassy-carbon electrode for the Cr(III)/Cr(II) redox couple in the NaCl-KCl-CrCl3 and NaCl-KCl-K3CrF6 systems in the temperature range of 973-1173 K. It has been demonstrated that ks increases with temperature increase. The activation energies during the chromium ions recharging have been calculated. The obtained results are explained from the standpoint of complexation in molten salts.
