Abstract
Photoluminescent PFO nanopillars are fabricated by replication from nanoporous anodic alumina via template wetting method at room temperature. We have studied how the nanostructure and the experimental process influence the photoluminescent properties of the obtained structures. Results show that the nanoconfinement induces chain alignment in PFO nanopillars and modifies the photoluminescent spectra. The synthesis and characterization of these ordered nanostructures have been developed in order to create a new generation of optoelectronic devices such as polymer light-emitting diodes, sensors and organic solar cells.
