Abstract
It is shown that the molybdenum compounds are good catalysts for oxygen electrodes of power cells based on carbon nanotubes working in the alkaline electrolyte. With the help of electrochemical method were obtained molybdenum compounds applied to multiwalled carbon nanotubes. It was established that it was a compound with molybdenum oxidation degree ~ +4. The catalytic characteristics of molybdenum oxide compound deposited on carbon nanotube are equal to those of platinum catalysts.
