Abstract
COVID 19 created a large disturbance in the education system. The locking down of education institutions has majorly affected large number of students and teachers. The managements of educational institutions, with a lot of thought process have worked on the implementation of innovative teaching and learning. This paper majorly focuses on the intellectual innovation and education reforms initiated by the teaching fraternity to reach the students through the virtual mode. The need of the hour is to innovate the teaching methods with a systematic plan. The teaching fraternity who mostly used chalk and talk were forced to adapt to online mode for teaching which was considered as an opportunity for them to relearn and rethink on implementing the virtual teaching
