Abstract
Electrochemical polymerization of 2,3-diaminophenazine (2,3-DAP) was carried out in an acidic aqueous solution and in anacetonitrile solution. While the redox property of poly(2,3-DAP)deposited in acidic aqueous solution indicated rather complicatedcurrent-potential response, poly(2,3-DAP) deposited in acetonitrileshowed simple wave shape. Catalytic activity of both poly(2,3-DAP)s for oxygen reduction reaction was compared to that ofpoly(o-phenylenediamine) using cyclic voltammetry.
