Abstract
We have proposed a new design concept of the SOFC anode with metal nano-particles produced by partial reduction reaction. NiAl2O4 was employed as the precursor of Ni catalysts. After reduction of it, the Ni nano-particles of 20-50 nm were formed and acted as the good anodic catalysts. Furthermore, the SDC coating on NiAl2O4 surface enhanced anode performance and the 20 wt.% NiAl2O4-SDC with SDC coating in the anode showed high performance and high catalytic activity.
