Abstract
Oxide-coated glass is a major industrial product, with more than 110 million ft2/year of flat glass coated by chemical vapor deposition (CVD). Fluorine-doped tin oxide for use as low-emissivity or solar-control architectural glass is the largest product; but a wide range of other coatings are produced as well, including the oxides of silicon, titanium, aluminum, zinc, cobalt, iron, and chromium.
