Abstract
PVA membrane types are very siutable for application in fuel cells. These embody good properties and humidify abilities at higher temperatures. At temperature about 100 °C these membrane types have an optimal voltage-ampere and power charcteristics. In this paper are described experimental preparation and conductivity measurements of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) polymer electrolyte membranes. This type of membranes and commercially produced membranes are measured in low temperature polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) fuel cell Quintech. Fundamental characteristics (e. g. volt-ampere and power characteristics) of fuel cells containing PVA membranes and commercial produced membranes were compared
