Abstract
Li2FeSiO4, as a highly promising polyanionic cathode material, has the advantages of high energy density, low cost, good thermal stability, high safety and environmental friendliness. However, its electrochemical performance has been affected by the drawbacks such as low electrical conductivity, low Li-ion diffusion rate and crystal instability. Over the years, in order to solve these problems and truly realize the commercial application of Li2FeSiO4 cathode materials, researchers have proposed more and more preparation or modification methods to optimize the electrochemical performance of Li2FeSiO4. This paper lists the electrochemical performance improvement of modified Li2FeSiO4 and its innovation points. The realistic problems that still exist in the application of Li2FeSiO4 cathode materials at this stage were discussed. This paper provides a basis for the next innovative research and application of cathode materials for Li-ion batteries.
