Abstract
Li0.55La0.35TiO3 (LLT) with a honeycomb structure, which has micro-size-holes on both sides of a membrane, was prepared as an electrolyte for three-dimensional (3D) all-solid-state rechargeable lithium ion batteries. In this study, LiCoO2 and Li4Mn5O12 were used as cathode material and anode material, respectively, and their particles were fabricated by sol-gel method. The impregnation of active material particles mixed with the precursor sol provided a good contact between LLT and active material, which reduced an internal resistance of cell. Accordingly, the battery composed of LiCoO2 / LLT / Li4Mn5O12 was successfully operated at 1.1 V with the discharge capacity of 7.3 x A h cm-2.
