Abstract
The world's first highly durable perfluorinated polymer based MEA for PEMFC, under high temperature and low humidity, has been developed. The newly developed MEA, which is composed of a new perfluorinated polymer composite (NPC), reduces the degradation rate to 1/100 - 1/1000 compared to the conventional MEA. The NPC MEA can be operated for more than 4000 hours at 120ºC and 50% relative humidity (RH).
