Abstract
Lyme disease is a tick-borne illness caused by the spirochete Borrelia burgdorferi. We present a unique case of a patient who developed acute pancreatitis secondary to infection with B. burgdorferi. This case illustrates a rare manifestation of Lyme disease previously documented in only a few case reports. We discuss the recognition, management and clinical course of the patient following diagnosis.
