Abstract
Ephestia cautella (Walker) (Lepidoptera: Phycitidae) is one of the main pests that cause damage to stored products in many parts of the world. In this study, the effectiveness of the entomopathogenic nematode Steinernema carpocapsae (Rhabditida: Steinernematidae) (Tokat-Bakışlı05) on the Ephestia cautella under laboratory conditions was investigated. Experiments were carried out with 2 replications and 5 replications at 3 different temperatures (10, 20, 25°C) and 65% humidity conditions. S. carpocapsae isolate was applied at three different concentrations (250, 500 and 1000 IJs ml-1), and pure water was used as a control. As a result of the experiment, Steinernema carpocapsae (Tokat-Bakışlı 05) isolate was found to be 100% effective in 1000 IJs ml-1 at 20 0C.
