Abstract
High pressure studies of solids are of current imporlance. Measurements and calculations of the equation of state have been madefor a number of solids. Semi-empirical equations of state play an important role in high-pressure research. In the present work we have computed properties using the four best forms of equations of slate available in literature. We present our computed results using thefour equations of state and discuss the validity of theseforms through experimental results
