Abstract

Building a diverse, culturally responsive, and informed pediatric health workforce is essential to promoting the health and well-being of children and adolescents through patient-centered, family-engaged care. Using evidence-informed and culturally respectful health promotion strategies that lead to effective clinical care and that support shared decision-making between caregivers, patients, and pediatric health professionals is fundamental.
