Abstract
Two triterpenoids, taraxer-14-en-6α-ol and taraxerol, were isolated from the fruit of Fissistigma oldhami (Hemsl.) Merr. (Annonaceae). The structures of the isolated compounds were established by spectroscopic methods (UV, IR, MS, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, DEPT, COSY, HSQC and HMBC). These compounds were isolated from this plant for the first time.
