Abstract
Purpose: To familiarize medical physicists with the experience of in vivo dosimetry in the practice of radiation therapy and experimental work at the N.N. Blokhin National Medical Research Center of Oncology.
Materials and methods: The main characteristics, operating principles and experience of using semiconductor detectors and thermoluminescent dosimeters in the practice of radiation therapy and experimental work are described.
Results: It was shown that thermoluminescent dosimeters and semiconductor detectors are still relevant when conducting point by-point relative dosimetry and cannot be replaced by other modern detection means.
