Abstract

The growing vulnerability of the world’s water resources is driving many businesses to set corporate water targets across their direct operations and beyond. By setting enterprise water targets, they can address local shared water challenges in the ways and places that matter most across their value chains. Companies with high water impacts upstream or downstream from their direct operations are increasingly looking to set water targets to address potential risks and impacts related to water.
