Abstract
Photography's role in dentistry has become an indispensable part and has become a necessity rather than an option. The growth of photography and its impact on dentistry has always been increasing over the decades. The role played by it in various specialties of dentistry and its effect on providing good quality treatment and improved patient care is huge. It helps to formulate a good sense of communication between the dentist and the patient, enabling the patient to trust completely. Photography also plays a major role in treatment planning, evaluating, documenting, publishing, and marketing.
