Abstract
The article aims to reveal the relevance of developing flexible skills of future ITspecialists. The authors analyze the reasons why first-year students of IT-directions of study
do not possess the skills declared as meta-level (personal) results in secondary education.
In order to determine the importance of developing flexible skills of future IT-specialists
the comparison of labor functions, labor actions and necessary skills of IT-specialists of
professional standard 06.001 “Programmer” with universal competences of Federal State
Educational Standard and corresponding flexible skills declared by employers from IT
sphere was carried out. Based on the analysis, the flexible skills of IT-specialists, significant
for the development of modern software projects, are highlighted. The methodology of
developing flexible skills of future IT-specialists in teaching information technologies on the
basis of team media-educational projects, taking into account the individual distribution
of roles in the team, is proposed. The results of the study may be of interest for teachers
modeling professional tasks for students studying in engineering training areas, as well
as for the development of teaching-methodological complexes and electronic educational
resources for training students in other disciplines and modules.
