Abstract
The article discusses a modern approach to the study of medical terminology
in a foreign language, its key aspects in online conditions. Such a format directly arouses
educational interest among students of a specialized educational institution. When teaching
professional vocabulary in modern conditions, one of the requirements is to improve the
quality of training of future specialists and the introduction of new strategies in English
language classes. Therefore, the purpose of the study is to thoroughly study the notions of
“professional vocabulary”, “digital learning” and their distinctive features, as well as to
consider suitable forms and strategies in teaching Medical English to create an authentic
atmosphere and high indicators of the level of acquired knowledge. The key problem of
the work is the analysis of the practical application of medical vocabulary in the digital
environment and its effectiveness in mastering the information by medical students. To do
this, it is required to study the basic concepts and their features, determine possible ways of
teaching professional vocabulary using new strategies and identify the dynamics of mastering
this learning system by students of a medical institution.
