Abstract

Turbo fuel stratified injection is a Volkswagen Group trademark for a forced-aspiration engine in which the fuel is pressurized to form a stratified charge directed directly into the intake chamber. TSI stands for "turbocharged stratified injection" and is inspired by the Volkswagen TDI clean diesel and FSI direct fuel injection engines.
