Abstract
Metanarsia moroccanasp. nov. is described from Eastern Morocco. The species is remarkable in having an unmodified recurved labial palpus and the adults active in October. Adults and male genitalia of the new species are illustrated, and the adults compared with the most superficially similar Metanarsia dahurica Bidzilya, 2005. An annotated list of the species of Metanarsia is provided.
