Abstract
Two new species belonging to the varius group of Coccophagus, C. breviclavulussp. nov. and C. perlucidussp. nov., are described from Xishuangbanna Rainforest (China, Yunnan). Coccophagus anchoroides (Huang) and C. yunnana Wang, Huang & Polaszek are recorded. A tentative key to world species of this group is provided. Partial nuclear ribosomal 28S-D2 of these four species and other six species were sequenced and subjected to a phylogenetic analysis. Phylogeny of C. varius group is discussed.
