A New Method of Computing Vorticity and Divergence

Abstract

A method of computing vorticity and divergence which combines certain features of the Bjerknes-Sandström streamline system with the Bellamy objective system is presented. A graphical computer, on which the vorticity and divergence are calculated simultaneously, is described in detail.
