Abstract

This article discusses how the use of cognitive structures shape teaching practice and reality of intercultural communication in terms of making senses of the world, solving language and psychological issues. Specifically, we examine how the object “light” forms a mental field and provokes sense-giving in Arabic and Russian linguistic cultures.
