Abstract

This article summarises the findings of a piece of research submitted for the Professional Doctorate in Educational and Child Psychology at the University of East London. The research was conducted because the Local Authority in which it is based aimed to develop its specialist provision settings for children and young people, particularly those experiencing behavioural, emotional and social difficulties (BESD). The research aimed to explore what Educational Psychologists (EPs) could learn from young people’s experiences and how these experiences can inform the development of future provision.
