Abstract

▪ This article will describe an approach to therapy that helped improve low mood and self-esteem in an adult with a learning disability.▪ The therapy was based on a cognitive behavioural therapy model.▪ The article will explain how a cognitive behavioural approach can be helpful and meaningful for people with learning disabilities.▪ This article also explains what the person with a learning disability found helpful about therapy.
