Preparing for clinical supervision in psychology: What can we learn from the Scottish experience?

Abstract

This article describes the development and systematic evaluation of supervisor training for new clinical psychology supervisors in Scotland, which includes an innovative process of portfolio review for evaluating supervisory competence. Future implications are considered in the context of IAPT.
