Factors influencing treatment in drug and alcohol services for minority ethnic clients

Abstract

This study examines factors which may affect treatment for clients from minority ethnic backgrounds when accessing drug and alcohol services. Results from a questionnaire revealed issues regarding ethnicity of staff, working with families and acceptability of substances in ethnic communities.
