Abstract

This article will look at the journey that psychological services for children, young people and their families have been on over the past 50 years and how we see that journey continuing over the coming years. The variety of ways in which the specialty has developed and the ongoing range of exciting advances mean that we have had to keep the scope of this article pretty broad without being able to focus too deeply on any one area. We hope you enjoy this snapshot of our past, and welcome you to participate in our future.
