Ethno biopsychosocial model for social prescribing across cultures

Abstract

This paper is developed from the Psychotherapy Annual Conference workshop with the the theme: The Distress of Invisible Populations – Your Chance to Speak. It describes how to culturally enhance social prescribing as a community practice for educating community psychologists and psychotherapists. It expands the previous literature review on the topic and the biopsychosocial model. It adds the cultural aspect and evaluates the outcome as evidence-based practice with recommendations to increase the future impact.
