Abstract
In 35 normal men, conventional and vectorial electrocardiographic items were studied after severe, anaerobic exercise over a recovery period of 8 min. The changes, especially of the T vector, are pronounced, but are different from those observed in coronary insufficiency. The hypothesis is advanced that the changes in anaerobic exercise are due to general myocarclial hypoxia, in contrast to the localized ischemia in coronary insufficiency.
