Rusya-Ukrayna Savaşına Giden Süreç: “Avrasyacılık” Anlayışı Çerçevesinden Bir İnceleme

Abstract

In this study, which is about the Russia-Ukraine war, Russia's policies towards Ukraine are examined from the perspective of "Eurasianism". In the study, the answers to questions such as to what extent Russia, which aims to realize the "Eurasian Union", can achieve this at the point reached, or whether it is successful in this regard, are investigated. In the study, in which the descriptive and historical analysis method was used, the historical background of the war was investigated first, and then the issues that caused the conflict between the two countries were mentioned. In the analysis part of the study, first of all, the process leading to the war and the understanding of "Eurasianism" were examined, then the Russia-Ukraine war was evaluated within the framework of the understanding of Eurasianism.
