Abstract

In the ever-evolving landscape of information technology, the demand for high-performance networks has never been more pressing. As data volumes continue to surge and our reliance on digital communication intensifies, network infrastructure must adapt and scale to meet these escalating demands. At the forefront of this technological revolution are multilayer petabits per second (Pb/s) networks, representing the pinnacle of network throughput and capacity.Multilayer Pb/s networks have revolutionized the way we transmit and process data, enabling a level of connectivity and data transfer speed that was once deemed unattainable. These networks form the backbone of our modern digital world, connecting vast data centers, enabling cloud computing, supporting high-definition video streaming, and underpinning critical industries such as finance, healthcare, and telecommunications. The promise of multilayer Pb/s networks lies not only in their extraordinary speed but also in their ability to facilitate real-time data analysis, support the Internet of Things (IoT), and empower cutting-edge technologies such as autonomous vehicles and artificial intelligence.
