Abstract
There are many flexible structural dynamic characteristics such as low frequencies, dense frequencies, multi-bodies and so on. It is infeasible to set up laboratory experiments structures of the same size as the spacecraft structures in space when the structural dynamic characteristic are researched on earth. But the structures for laboratory experiments must be of the same or near structural dynamic characteristics as the spacecraft structures in space. So a kind of scale modeling method is presented in this paper based on Flexible Structural Dynamic Complex Coefficient (FSDCC). The method makes it to feasible to simulate the structural dynamic characteristics of the large flexible spacecraft in laboratory experiments. The paper aims at a spacecraft with a truss as the main body. The analytical results confirm that the structures for laboratory experiments are of the same or near structural dynamic characteristics as the spacecraft structures in space.
