Abstract
Solved a particular problem of optimization of process of radiation of gamma quanta of polyethylene with the aim of obtaining heat-shrinkable tubing with the shape memory effect. The problem of optimizing the placement of ionizing radiation sources in an industrial installation is presented. Some results of optimization, which have practical application and allow to significantly reduce the exposure time, are presented.
