2. Originally created under the law of 8 August 1913, this permitted the owners of hotels to borrow on the security of their moveable property.
3. JO 29 mars 1915; JO 23 janv 1916. The decree of 26 September 1914 had already prohibited the use in the future of garnishment on wages or salaries not exceeding 2,000 FF (except for foodrelated debts).
4. Civ 26 juin 1917, DP 1918.1.13. A citizen who had been mobilised and had been allocated to a firm working for the national defence was not considered to be in military service (Crim 27 juil 1916, DP 1918.1.33 and Lyon 21 mars 1916, DP 1916.2.92: he was not in a condition where it was ‘impossible to supervise his personal interests’). Nor did he benefit from the moratorium on rents (Civ 11 juin 1918, DP 1918.1.33).
