Abstract

The 5-hydroxytryptamine receptor type 7 (5-HT7R) has been shown to exhibit noncanonical inverse coupling with its cognate Gs protein. Here, using single-molecule imaging, we show that the presence of 5-HT7R, particularly in the inactive state, dramatically reduces the diffusion rate of Gs.
