Abstract

Cortical dynein contributes to clustering of supernumerary centrosomes during mitosis such that disruption of cortical dynein results in unclustered spindles and multipolar divisions. Computational modeling further indicates that centrosome clustering is sensitive to both cortical dynein motor activity and dynamic localization.
